My name is Truman and I'm a CPA who likes to talk about tax (nerd). After working in public accounting for 5 years I got burned out and transitioned into tech (sell-out), but I still have a passion for helping people navigate tax compliance and make better tax decisions. I do this as a hobby, not as a job, and therefore it's totally free! (bad business choice)

Is this really free?

Yup! No charges*, no fees. Just a 30-minute conversation covering any tax questions you have. Or any other questions, but I'm better with the tax stuff.

How do you make money?

I don't! At least not from this. I have a day job in tech that I enjoy and that pays the bills. Offering tax advice is just a passion project I do on the side.

What kind of tax questions can you answer?

During my time in public accounting I specialized in individual tax (think all things 1040) and that's where I have the deepest knowledge. I also have a good handle on expat taxes. But I'm happy to discuss any individual or business tax questions you have, and if I don't have a good answer I'll say so!
